Heavy, full of flavor, forces out a "WOW!" Drink this one without much food in the belly.

The porter flavor is good, the coffee flavor is subtle, but the vanilla is overwhelming. First taste is of the porter and coffee, followed by an overwhelming vanilla taste. I would give this 4.5 stars if the vanilla were toned down a bit.

One of the better Porters that I have had. Love the added vanilla

Espresso dark with matching head. Bitter, toasted aroma with a hint of sweetness. Powerful flavor and brazen potency. Woody, lingering vanilla, dark roasted malts, and a hint of coffee. Great beer.

2011 aged nice, one year later it is dark, rich coffee roast with a subtle vanilla after taste. Talked to the brewer, they change it a little every year, '11 was a coffee focused year.
