Some hint of a chocolate flavor at times. Hard to drink a lot of, or to drink quickly. Last sips don't taste good.

Nice and smooth easy to drink ale... The chocolate and carmel flavors aren't too overwhelming... Enjoyable and can drink several...

Great black beer.

Strong, not necessarily good, flavor. I'm not a big fan of Abita.

Porter-like in color but not in body- a bit thin.

Smooth, really dark brown ale. Very flavorful, coffee like

Dark brown body with a reddish tinge and a tan head that has good retention and leaves a moderate amount of lacing. Poured into pint glass.
Aromas of chocolate, coffee, caramel and toffee. Roasty sweet caramel and chocolate on the front end with coffee and hop presence on back end leaving a subtle lingering bitterness. Fairly well-balanced with medium body and good carbonation. Enjoyable and imminently drinkable. Turbo Dog could very well be a man's best friend.
