Smells pretty sweet, tastes sweeter, too-but not fruity or overly sweet. Has some spice to counter the sweet, and the hops creep under the Belgian flavor. Medium mouthfeel and finishes mildly dry. Good beer.

A little like the grun drachen. Not overly hoppy but not too outstanding. Good, not great.

First taste is bitey. Can taste the alcohol.

Half Belgian Triple, half IPA. Fruity finish. Thick head retention. Smelly aroma.
Sudsey - December 19, 2011
Sweet start (butterscotch/caramel) with a clean bitter citrus finish (grapefruit/mandarin orange). Boozy, burning on the way down. Mouthfeel is coating. Complicated like a sexy girlfriend.

A very interesting beer with a butterscotch/caramel start and a grapefruit mandarin orange finish. Aftertaste seems to move between clean bitterness and syrupy sweetness and back again. Mouthfeel is coating, boozy burn on the way down. Complicated, like a sexy girlfriend.
