Nice bready aroma. Rich flavor with alcohol tone which didn't detract from flavor

This is a great beer, and so are the family of Trappistes Rochefort beers.

Very heavy fruit flavor from prunes, with a very dark beer surrounding taste.

Amazingly complex. A total game changer.

Wow. I just love how dark this beer looks with an evaporating white head. The taste is strong so it's a sipper. Very strong malt backbone. Smell is sweet like candied prunes. Delicious. Sweet malty richness but the alcohol is also present. In the past the alcohol stood out more. At this point I enjoy it more.

Tons of malt, nut, hints of chocolate. Alcohol a bit much at first but the palate does adjust. Phenomenal for the style though if you're looking for more balance go for something else
