Good in its own right as a DIPA which is accessible to those transitioning from an IPA. In much the same way that Sierra Nevada Pale is a gateway to IPA's, this brew will lead to a greater appreciation of Dreadnought and Hopslam, to name a few of my current favorites.

This is a very mellow double IPA. I was surprised that it had very little nose and very little floral and hop aroma. The appearance was rather cloudy (something I like) and it had a nice body. The flavors were pretty mellow and it finished very clean.

Nice cold pine notes hit at first taste. Then malt and caramel come with citrus. Good beer with a spicy Mexican feast......

Honey, caramel and tangy initial nose. When cold bitter pine and citrus hops start, as it warms, more malt and caramel forward with citrus and pine finish, warming and consistent. A little resiny, vegetative. Good carbonation.
