A rather bland, flat ale. Not much flavor, carbonation or alcohol. Frankly I should have chose water. Thanks John.

Sweet irish red taste for a second, then fizzles out to a bland carbonated finish. Not good.

Subtle nose with hints of grape or wine. Decent red ale! Slightly sweet (almost too sweet but not). Taste is a fairly consistent note with a clean well-balanced simple flavor through to the finish. The finish leaves you with a malty-hoppy close. Given the other tasting notes on BrewGene, I wonder if there is a premium ale version and a non-premium ale version. I had the premium and it is definitely a very good beer. I would judge it halfway between the typical mainline red ales and the heavy uncontrolled dense dark red ales that some aficionados seem so enamored with. Wonderful middle-of-the-road.

Nice flavorful beer that is crisp and fairly clean. Slight malt nose with great malt & grain mouth. Hopps is present but light and not over wealming. Drinks like a lager.
