an interesting burnt orange color but hoppier than I like; I suppose it is a solid ipa though

Purchased from the Antwerp Pit Stop in Antwerp, Ohio. 12oz bottle poured into a Sam Adams sensory glass. Color is the definition of copper. Orange and cobalt-like, fading to deep gold towards the bottom of the glass. Pours to a frothy two-fingered, cream-colored head. Aroma is of orange peel and candy-like with sweet caramel malt sitting in the background. Aromas give way to hop bitterness that splits down the center of the tongue and palate on the first sip. Lingers there with a slight peppery aftertaste. American hop presence is obvious. Flavor is a three-way battle between grapefruit hop bitterness, roast character, and alcohol. Caramel malts remained subdued in the background as in aroma. Mouthfeel is fairly dry and not heavy-bodied. Very typical in this department. My only knock is that Celebration Ale is a winter seasonal but doesn't have much that reminds me of winter besides the way the alcohol warms me up. Could be an every day American IPA.

Very rich and spicy holiday ale... Too sweet for me but high quality nonetheless

One of my favorite holiday drinks. Enjoy the fierce grapefruit aroma tamed my creamy malt. Around twenty different favors depending on the beer temperature.

Not your typical holiday brew. This is more of a delicious hoppy pale ale. A nice break from all the spiced gunk that surfaces during Christmas.
