Solid product. Very nice and smooth if unexceptional in flavour. A preferred stout.

Another great beer from Samuel Smith. Wonderful flavor, nicely carbonated.

Intense aroma on the pour, with notes of milk chocolate, hazelnut, and sweet earthy grains. It's rich, sweet, and earthy -- reminds me of Nutella. It is opaque black in color, with a thick chocolatey head. Once it settles, it has the appearance of French-pressed coffee. It goes down remarkably smooth. The beer has a richly sweet taste, with earthy tastes and the expected hint of oatmeal cookies. Notes of caramel, chocolate, and perhaps even coffee on the finish. Also has a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. Very little to criticize, this is one of my very favorite brews.

Decent smooth taste not overwhelmed with the taste (burg & barrel)

Still the standard.

This is the nicest stout I've found in the states. Beamish is my favorite but I haven't had it in 8 months and that was overseas. This beer is well worth the purchase price.
