Smooth and malty, just not my fave. Wish I had a soft pretzel and cheese!

12/15/15 - Webinar beer tasting. 12 oz bottle into a tulip glass. 1/2" head with excellent retention. Pours an opaque black color. Aroma is Apricot, licorice, charcoal and chocolate. Taste is caramel, coffee, chocolate and molasses type sweetness.,Overall, a really good beer.

Pretty good. Somewhat overrated though. I prefer American stouts, I feel they have more flavor
