A good imperial stout, not too much chocolate and not as big of a bite at the finish as other imp . stouts. Good just not great .

Well balanced hops and roasted malts; very deep color; medium body; smooth. Hint of coffee - aroma; slightly sweet chocolate undertones. Good imperial.

I can't really describe it w/ my immature pallet. Tastes a little sour was my first thought. However, really does have a red wine taste like other reviewers mentioned. Not a big fan of it at first beer.

Strong dark chocolate flavor, but very drinkable. Not overbearing at all. Alcohol aftertaste is subdued, quite a pleasant beer. Would definitely buy and drink again!

Good imperial, but not great. Chocolate notes and smooth. A little light in the mouthfeel. Definitely agree with the red wine taste comments. Bottle, August 2013.
