Dark color and mild chocolate flavor. Just Ok for a winter beer

Lots of spices. Kind of tastes like Christmas should. A good winter offering!

If it's a Christmas beer it's barely O.K.,not to much Christmas spice (flavor) which I prefer

-Nutty dark bittersweet chocolate overtones. Smooth and deeply flavorful. Can pick up on the spices and citrus. X-Mas in your mouth.

Dark not my type it was ok but wouldn't drink it again profile - December 24, 2013
Tan coloured head and dark amber body. Lots of hops and minerals in the nose, but not overpowering. Plenty of roasted malts, but a rather thin body. Good finish, not a lot of bitterness. Slight astringency. Also a slight tickle in the back of the throat, but I'm unsure if that's spice or carbonation. A pretty good beer.
