A great fall beer. Goes well with most tailgate food.

Not my favorite ofest, but good

good overall flavor for an Octoberfest beer, nice malt hop combo that just about everyone can drink.

A little more red in color that caramel so I was worried it was going to be like the other Sam Adams beers I have tried .. bleh. Imagine my surprise to find out that I liked it. While the flavor was not as robust as some of the other Märzen style beers I have had it was a solid beer with good flavor start to finish, and one readily available while out and about which makes it a good fall selection. I would drink this again.

The most average craft beer makes a very average Octoberfrest. Even spice quality with balanced barley and hop... Gets boring, really.

Smooth without after tastes

Malty upfront but not cloyingly sweet, a solid toasty/nut finish. Great fall / football & pizza beer!

Vaguely sweet, maple syrup taste. Really good!

A bit on the rapey side, don't you think?
