Distinctive from most other American lagers. Darker and hoppier, it has the usual Sam Adams finish consistent in most of the companies products.

This lager brings a full bodied pale ale flavor to the table, slightly bitter. Goes well with sweet meats.

An all around performer as a dinner beer. In my opinion, it goes with the broadest range of cuisines. As far as lagers go, this one has more substance and balance than any of the others that I've tasted.
