Amber color. Slight hoppy bite that carries thru the finish and lingers.

The hops tend to overpower the pepper and spices just leaving a bitter taste

Lots of rye, pepper, and spice. Helps cut the bitterness, but still darn bitter. Solid beer.

2014 - It pours with a golden brown body and light tan head. Lots of piney hops on the nose with some citrusy notes. Very well balanced in the mouth with some hop astringency in the finish. Plenty of hops all throughout, but without being overpowering. Not a lot of bitterness until the very end.
