darkomini - February 4, 2015Appearance: dark Amber color with a fast dissipating head, clear.
Aroma: bananas, clove, cinnamon with a little minerality,
Taste: fruit citrus front, mild bitterness but leaves your mouth coated with hop oils.

trained moose - January 20, 2015Great combination of the spicy, earthy rye with a solid hop finish that lingers for a bit on the tongue afterwards. Great beer. 3.5/5 stars.
bockboy@att.net - January 8, 2015C -. Not enough hop aroma and a bitter aftertaste with little hop flavor. If it was called an Amber, I might rate it higher. But the bottle says IPA. Very drinkable, just not an IPA. Had a 2021 version and I stand by my comments, but it is a tasty B+ beer, not IPA.
