Dark coffee colored, with almost no head. Chocolatey caramel aroma with burnt, woody chocolate flavor and a remarkably dry finish.

Poured from bottle, black with red highlights, head hung on for about 1 minute.
A- dark roasted coffee, touch of caramel. No hops, could not make out much esters.
T- mild malty sweetness, with a touch of caramel sweetness that moves to a dark roasty bitterness, coffee.
M-light to medium
Impression- tastes like a dry stout, not complex, but tasty and easy to drink. Bitterness is pleasing, giving a very quaffable beer.

A little on the bitter side. Nothing special.

Smokey, malty with subtle, almost unnoticeable hop aftertaste. I'm drinking this warm so I may revisit my comments.

Rich and dark. I remember it being good but that was a few beers in.
