One of my favorites.

Mid body. Sweet-alc. strong burnt malt upfront. Slight lasting bitterness. Pepper? Carbonation beaks the smoothness. Alc leaves dry finish. 3.8

Nice Carmel flavor.

Nice Flavor. Better tasting after having sat for a while

Way too dry with a citrusy finish. More US than Russian despite a cacao and coffee nose. On take 2: super creamy tan head of solid retention and lace. great chocolate nose in a milky sweet sort of way. Taste is of dry cocoa but a TINY bit watery in flavour and body with a touch of warmth. 4.25

Dark and sweet with some hop balance. Good carbonation. A caramel finish.

Heavy but firm in taste. Surprisingly crisp

Really enjoyed this. Dark, rich and strong but not overwhelming. Warm and delicious.

Very dark, almost black, characteristic of a Russian Imperial Stout. Great example of style. A little sweet at first, with a chocolate bitterness at the end. Strong and rich. I like this for sipping at night. A licorice aftertaste develops after a few minutes. I am not a huge fan of such dark beers.

Probably the best dark beer I've had. Very rich and flavorful but smooth and not too bitter.
