I sometimes enjoy a red ale. This is one I like because it isn't too hoppy. Just a little pine flavor in the aftertaste of the back of the palate. I could drink a few of these and forget where I parked the bike!

A bit too much bite. I wanted to like it more!

Loved it. No heavy or gritty aftertaste

Very smooth for a big beer. The big upfront hop bitterness is quickly balanced off or a great flavor. Really nice.

Drinkable with good flavor without being overwhelming.

A good imperial ale. Note that imperial is synonymous with strong. Color is a beautiful autumn red with a large, thick (hint of red) head. A pungent smell of hops and fermentation. Tastes immediately of bitter hops with a vary smooth uniform taste. Not an everyday beer. 3.5 of 5 stars.

A strong ale with good flavor. I would recommend easing into it because it can be over powering at first. If you follow it up with a regular beer, it will taste like a light beer at first. It’s a good opener. Try it.

Something tasted off... Don't know if it was the tap or the beer.
