Ever changing beer, but almost always pleasing

Possibly my favorite red ale so far. Highly hopped but balanced finish

Vampire pro: they live without lights, which really helps to conserve energy. Vampire con: that whole sleeping in coffins thing

Pretty rough.. Hoppy backbone, not what I was looking for..2.5 stars just because of the abv.

Slightly malty, heavily hopped with a dry finish...usually this description would signal me to stay away from a beer, but I really enjoyed it...

9/22/2014: Had glass @ Lucky Dog when having dinner with Kristen, Kacy/Chris, Slabe, Rafi. Slabe in turn, went over and purchased a whole growler for me to take home.

Often referred to as Burning River Pale Ale’s big brother, this stock ale is remarkably balanced for such a highly hopped beer. A rich deep blood red color makes this beer scary enough to be served every Halloween and a few other times of the year.

Keeping with Bavarian Purity Law of 1516, this Imperial Red Ale is brewed from all natural ingredients with no added chemicals or preservatives. At 8.0% ABV and a translucent blood-red hue, Nosferatu offers up a strong bitter "bite".
