2 stars.. I like the high alcohol content and sweetness, however it tastes very similar to the Chokolat by Southern Tier.. Over time the sweetness becomes over whelmimg,And the chocolate starts to taste extremely artificial ..A very heavy beer too.. Not one u want to have everyday nor drink more than one bottle in one sitting..Not the worst but certainly not a top 100 caliber beer

Wow. I wanted a tasty, chocolate extravaganza and this did not disappoint. BIG chocolate flavor with high alcohol finish. Impressive. Everything you would want in a sweet, tasty beer.

Got a bomber at home. Really chocolatey. Almost fake mokah flavor. Starts sweet & ends a little bitter.

Pours a thick oily black topped by a tan head of fair retention and smooth lace. Aroma is faintly of coffee but with strong dark chocolate syrup dominance. Taste is similar and sweet, but not milk stout cloying sweet with dark chocolate most notable. It finishes with a lightly bitter chocolate and faint piney hops that dries put well, while the feel is full and sticky on the lips.

Tasted like Robitussin cough syrup. I'm hoping I got a bad batch because that was horrible.

Light-mid body.light carb. Slight Burnt coffee. Smooth. Sweet from alc. carb, coffee, and burnt malt hide alc content. Not too complex flavor, but mocha sweetness is clear. 3.8
