Pretty much the perfect combo of sweet, dark, malt, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla.

It pours a dark inky black with about a finger of dark chocolate mocha head. Leaves lots of good sticky, sugary lacing behind. It doesn't pour too thick, but looks nice and creamy nonetheless. A pleasant aroma, but I mostly pull out the chocolate and coffee beans. A slight baking cocoa sort of aroma is also prominent. The taste is similar to the aroma-- chocolatey profile and coffee beans are apparent. It has a sweetness that is held with the chocolate and roasted notes over the complex coffee and malt flavors. The flavors coat your mouth and let you soak the sweet mocha in. Not too overpowering or too cloying with the roasty stout balance, but lots of flavors in there and it makes you want another drink. There is some alcohol warmth, but it doesn't detract. Perhaps some hints of caramel, vanilla extract in there as well, but overpowered by the chocolate and coffee. Overall, great dessert beer! This is a delicious flavored Imperial Stout. Couldn't drink more than one in a night but this is a very tasty stout that has the alcohol to put you down when you want a cafe mocha

Smells amazing of dark chocolate. Slight chocolate sweetness mixed with bitter bite of roasty espresso. Heavy. A bit too bitter (from earthy spice hops). Heavy and strong bitter aftertaste

Chocolate taste is too "dry" and stops short. Bitter. Blech.
