Back in the early days of our marriage my wife and I were primarily wine drinkers with an occasional margarita. When we drank beer, it was usually one of my favorites from college, Coors and dark Lowenbrau. A friend introduced us to Amberbock and it became our favorite. Eventually we stopped drinking beer altogether for 10-15 years until we joined the microbrew/craft brew culture. Publix our main chain grocer, had this on sale, so decided to see what we thought of it now and share with the guys helping us move our daughter's stuff. It's a very mild tasting beer. Compared to our favorite American Bock, Shiner Bock, it barely has any taste. But on a warm day, after some yard or other work, and for less than $1 a bottle, chilled a bit in the freezer, it will certainly go down easy.

I used to think this beer was high society, then I graduated second grade.
