Smooth. Good fruit taste. Can't tell it's 11.1%

Caramel nose and vanilla nose. There is a taste of butterscotch and bourbon. Very different and bit for the faint of heart.

Kind of cider flavored

Slightly sweet caramel and fruit undertones; potent; great complexity. Definitely one to savor.

Finally a Weyerbacher I like! Not for the faint of heart, though! Pours amber from the tap. Smell: Booze and malt on the nose. Taste: booze upfront, malt in te middle, booze to finish. Booze booze and more booze. I'd give this a better rating if the booze wasn't so present. This much alcohol should be at least somewhat masked by malt and/or hop complexity.

Barley wine taste and intensity. Scent very fruity and acidic. Taste of ginger. Good but strong!

Smells like a multivitamin. Not very heady though lacy residue. Flavor and viscosity similar to Corsensonk Christmas Ale. Cherry and oak flavor on the finish.
