Copper hued brew w/ off-white head. Vanilla, toffee, oak & lightly roasted malt highlight nose & flavors. Medium bodied & tasty.

Great tasting beer. Sweet at first and hits you on the back end with a great oak rum finish.

If you can find a place with draught 4.5 stars
Bottle 4 stars
Can 3.5 stars, much of the flavour is lost somehow.

Amber, clear body. Frothy cream colored head. Head is slow to recede, leaving lace on the glass.
Aroma is dominated by spicy, fruity and port, with hints of bourbon, oak, resiny hops, roasted malt and vanilla.
Rich, complex malt flavors. Bourbon, toffee, oak, dark fruits are all present. Rich malt is balanced by light bitterness. Bourbon, vanilla lingers on the palette.
Excellent representation of a scotch ale.

Tastes and smells like finger nail polish remover... With that said, not that bad, but not something I would want to drink often.

My new favorite beer. The only one to date that I've given 5 stars to. It has a creamy texture but isn't too thick. Higher apv which is a plus. But the best part is the taste by far. Great vanilla and caramel flavor. Very flavorful but not overly sweet like some fruity beers can be. I can't find a thing wrong with this beer or name a thing I'd change about it

Very first Innis and Gunn and I am impressed by the flavors in this surprising brew. Very crisp refreshing beer but with a lot of rich flavor. Definitely get the oak aged vanilla. I wouldn't call it a session beer, but one to sip and enjoy.

Great sweet tasting beer. High alc/vol. great start beer for the sweet tooth beginner.
