Had the German Chocolate Cake with coconut, vanilla and cocoa 2019 version. A. Very complex and balanced with all the flavors, also felt I tasted chocolate and bourbon.

Bottles of 2015 cognac, 2014 High West. High West Campfire whiskey was very smoky and peaty with enough stout and booze to balance things out. A.
2015 cognac was a tad sweet, but smooth and boozy.A-. Light brown wax.

No carbonation, smooth. Slightly sweet, barrel, and a bit hoppy, bitter finish. Mid bodied. Flavor lasts and balances ABV. 3.9

Tasted after aging for one year and man was it good...no bitterness at all

A to A+. Had the green and red wax caps 2014, 11.9%. Rittenhouse Rye and Four Roses, rye/green was milder for barrel and alcohol, but four/red was big. Both great. The following were tasted back to back in order listed
1. Gran Cru gold cap 2015. A blend of the best barrels from years past. Tasted like rum, but complex. Best of the ones we tried. A
2. Coffee sprakling lavender cap2015. Just coffee flavor. A-
3. High West bourbon orange cap2014. Very mellow and thin. B-
4. Same as #3, but 2013. Tasted the same and both. Bottles had cap issues like a leak.
5. Elijah Craig solid lavender cap2014. Mostly a scotch aroma and taste. A-
6. Evan Williams black cap2013. Very little booze, mostly a dried fruit aroma and taste, digs, plums...ver smooth. A

Heavy toffee / alcohol forward, with some sweetness in the middle. Alcohol aftertaste - definitely not my favorite, although worth a taste.
