B+. Would be higher rating if it were more complex, but it is a solid imperial stout with bourbon and barrel flavors. The 15.5% abv is well hidden.

Absolutely the best bourbon barrel imperial stout I've tasted. Huge bourbon notes, very complex, fruity with a continuous taste of Carmel, bourbon. Very tasty, very fine! It is hard to find in stores.

This is a nice Imperial Stout with a lot of bourbon flavor. There's a lot of head when you pour it and a pretty good aroma. I would drink again, but it's not the best out there.

Delicious RIS, drank after a glass of Goose Island bourbon Barrel stout. This beer is much hoppier, but just as delicious.

Dkrenik summed it up perfectly. The alcohol tastes separate from the beer. Not hidden in the beer like a Bourbon County Stout, or a 17% Dog Fish Head Higher Math.

We split a 22 oz bottle. Smells a little strange but tastes good. Very sting, both flavor and alcohol.

Carbonated, modestly smooth. Mid-big bodied. Barrel and biter upfront. Slight sweetness, balances very high ABV. Barrel finish. 3.75. Nice flavor overall
