Bast stout I have ever had. Smokey and warming. Not at all thick or sugary (which is shocking given the potent 13.5% abv). Recommended

Opaque mahogany with off white, foamy, head that really lingers. Alcohol aroma is quite noticeable. Notes of prunes & chocolate follow. Good carbonation and full bodied, the palate is loaded with roasty malt that helps to lend a slightly bitter finish. I think this is the first time I've thought that there's too much alcohol in a beer. Not bad - even pretty good. I don't think that I'd come back to this one.

Excellent! A wonderful imperial stout, thick, chocolate, coffee, aged in bourbon barrels.
