The go-to; crisp with just enough taste not to be bland

Damnit that was disgusting. Just a punch to face of grass and other crap. Never will I drink this again. I'm all for the mainstream beers but this was not for me.

Typical lager flavor, tastes just like every other one.

Tastes like a skunk

I gave this beer every opportunity. I poured it into a lager glass, tried sipping it everywhere from ice cold to warm, rolled it around in my mind a bit, and came to the same conclusion I always have...this just isn't a very good beer. It has a mildly skunky, kind of metallic after taste, and frankly only tastes decent when it's ice cold...and that's never a good sign.

First and foremost this beer should be rated in the bracket it belongs; an every day go to mass produced lager. It goes down very easy and smooth as a light beer would with a pleasant after taste. Given it is served fresh in its green bottle at a proper cold serving temp, I'd take one over any American domestic draft any given day. Aside from Newcastle this has for whatever reason become my new favorite go to off the shelf bottle (obvious stylistic parity aside). 3.5/5 on an honest scale of mass produced imports.

Having lived in Amsterdam within walking distance of the brewery you would think i am a bigger fan, but I am not - the metallic taste doesn't do it for me...
