I'm tasting a lot of stuff going on. Hops, coffee, and something unique that I guess is being caused by the hemp seeds. And for 9.2% it's extremely smooth. Drinking this with some congestion in my nose but already I'm really enjoying it, this needs to be tried again.

Dark IPA, hoppy but not too hoppy, mouthfeel is perfectly carbonated and silky, melting into sweeter syrupy the longer you hold in mouth.

An astronomical amount of hops equals lingering, aggressive, medicinal bitterness. Not good.

Dark mahogany w/ khaki head & nice lace. Aromas & flavors of roasted malt, bit smoky & boozy, hoppy bitter back end that lingers. Medium body. Fulfilling brew.

The perfect cross between an Imperial IPA and an Imperial Russian Stout!!! Often times these two types of beer are way too sweet and syrupy for me but this beer has all the flavor of each without being overly sweet. Kinda makes me think of an Stone Arrogant Bastard but with darker roasted malts.
