Exceedingly strong. Can taste the alcohol above and beyond the hops.

Aroma is very strong with hops and alcohol. The initial taste is extremely powerful and almost off-putting until I remember its a Double. Finish is very bitter and does leave an alcohol taste. At 11.5% it is a sipping beer and by the 3rd sip I am completely enjoying the aggressive flavor. Well crafted, strong ale

Powerful, but not overpowering

Abrasive, flavorful hops followed quickly by especially sweet malt flavors.

Pours a dark amber with off white head. Aroma is spicy hops. Tastes of apricot and pear with a nice bitterness. Palate is clear, not sticky, with pleasant warmth from alcohol.

Bitter, similar to Victory Hop Devil but less malty. Preferable to the Hop Devil.
