Overpowering hard alcohol flavor. Tasted like shot.

This has a heavy scotch flavor. I don't enjoy the punch of hard liquor, which is how this hits my taste buds, so this one is not for me.

Rich and sweet malty flavor with slight bitterness at the end. Solid scotch ale if you like sweeter beer.

One of the better Scotch Ales I've had. Sweet, silky malt flavors with a well-balanced bitterness at the finish.
