Fruity trippel with smooth taste. Notes of plum, apple. Sweet, but still bold.

Hmmm....as far as beers in general go, this one is probably a four. As far as Belgian Tripels go, I can't give this one higher than a three. When poured, I got a weak, almost non-existent head. The aroma was pleasant enough, and the initial taste was a flash of spice and clove. That passed quickly though, and I was left a little underwhelmed. It just didn't have the complexity I'm accustomed to in a tripel. Again....not a bad beer, but not a great tripel.

Great Tripel. Good on a summer or winter day. Picture on this app needs to be updated.

golden color, heavy head that lasts! sweet smell and a pleasent taste that starts down the road of the ale but not so far as to make me regret trying it. lite mouth feel.
