Not too smooth and less of flavor

24JUL12, Flying Saucer, Nashville, TN Bottle Dark Belgian strong ale. Has quite a bit of carbonation, which lightens the spices and dark fruits.

A darker, less interesting delirium tremens. Finishes flat for me and would not enjoy this beer outside of the cold winter months

Fruity Belgian, frothy head that sticks around, smells of melon, mango and pine.

Great flavor up front an delightful mouthfeel. However, metallic aftertaste kills the mood. Dark fruits and coriander and spices are the main flavors.
