bears1985 - June 2, 2018Interesting not what I expected highly carbonated. Malt present sweetness maybe caramel but not strong very caramel colored foamy head hints of fruit in flavor too
bockboy@att.net - November 25, 2017B. Get a lot of caramel aroma and flavor, yet kind of dry finish and smooth for a high alcohol beer. Light body, no Belgium spice. A 5 year old bottle was pretty much the same except it threw a lot of particulate.

Not a bad Belgium Beer, but fairly expensive here in the states. Will finish this $22 pint and move on to other beers.. sorry......
grantalewis@gmail.com - March 10, 2017I'm used to Belgian Strong Ales that are sweeter. This one's too dry for my taste, and it also has a distinct porter character (I generally don't care for porters).
