bradhuxter - August 21, 2014Not very nutty compared to say Rogue hazelnut brown nectar for example. Ok beer though. A bit of hops at the end they could have skipped.
doctor_throb - May 20, 2014The other tasting notes are confusing to me. The nutty flavor they insist is present is lacking for this style. Roasted characteristics are present, but understated. Color is good. Clean mouthfeel. Hop aroma is not too strong. More of an amber ale in my opinion.
Jrriley - November 26, 2013Thin head, significant lacing. Very dark reddish brown, slightly sweet barely discernible dark cherry nose. Sweetness comes out in the flavor too but bit too much. This is on the outer edges if a brown ale but is very good. I taste a little root beer in there and no noticeable hoppiness. An excellent beer and I could definitely have more than one.
