OK with bit of peatiness in the roast

I used to think this beer was great, but after another 6-pack, I've decided against that. It pours a translucent amber colour with a bit of head that doesn't linger or lace. The aroma is what begins the story of a beer gone wrong, though. I poured this out of a clear glass bottle and consistently got a whiff of skunk. Typically, I'll let the beer sit and warm up so that the funk will pass, but even after that, it was still there. I noticed some subtle caramel malts and earthy notes in the nose as well, but these were overpowered. The taste is okay. Getting a whiff of skunk before you take a sip doesn't help, but the beer does have an alrighty peaty flavour with some caramel hints. Mouthfeel is pretty good and the beer is lighter bodied, so it's easy to drink. Personally, I don't want the flavour of this one to linger much longer, so I'm down with the light body. Overall, it's OK at best. I hope I can try this fresh some time, because although clear bottles can be beautiful (like Innis & Gunn), you need a flavour that can overpower the funk you get when you crack one open.

Light head, long on fizz, nose like a mass produced lager, nutty flavor with a short hop finish.

Had the nitro version at dublins. Sour initially, then comes a robust raisin spaten-like taste. Too overpowering

Good mix between sweet and bitter with a crisp feel but deep flavor.
