sadiedaddy - September 15, 2012Good mouthfeel with lots of maltyness. Caramel and sweetness that's maybe a bit much. Has a licorice aftertaste that I don't care for much.

HoserMaurie - August 30, 2012very easy smooth drinkable beer. Just a bit more flavorful than the Newcastle Brown Ale

snow14ball@aol.com - August 18, 2012Nice smokey yet light enough since not hoppy. Semi sweet finish. Very pleasant.

seamaid@att.net - July 21, 2012has a nutty taste like a guineas but it doesn't travel to the back of the tongue. it's light and doesn't hang around.

Pours like a Boddingtons. Very creamy head leading to a bitter beer underneath. Maybe a little smoky, with some bready tones. Would go well with German-style kraut and brats. As I continue drinking, it gets less bitter and more malty.
