Interesting beer. Flavor tends towards the sour side. Would have liked to taste Porter flavors a bit more for balance.

Refreshing, fruity but not too much so. Hear it's brewed with figs.

Really original porter.. Roasty, nice spices, a tiny touch of sour.. Goes down a little too easy for an 8% abv ..

A nice brown sour.

OMG! This beer is fantastic! Pours a black body capped by a nice foamy beige head of good retention, and curtain-dropping lace. The nose starts with roasty notes dominated by lightly burnt toast with some chocolate and a funky cherry tartness and a hint of barnyard that completes the odd hybridity. But, as it warms and the head fades, the lactic tartness comes forth in a stronger fashion. Tastewise, the beer similarly begins with a coffee-esque malty roastiness that rapidly evolves into a tart dryness that is substantial, if not extreme or puckering, but is complex and unique. The body is medium with a creaminess and a slick acidity simultaneously and though of fair carbonation, the creamy porter notes outshine this making it nearly delectably chewy. Excellent oddity!

Dark, and a really nice smooth flavor, with plenty of tasty yeast. Nice medium body, and a great depth of flavor.

Fruity yeast and roasted malt aroma. Roasted, chocolate, slightly sour taste.
