Description-weizen dopplebock aged in rum barrels. Vanilla notes. Very tasty

2013 vintage, 9%abv. Pours a dark amber, minimal head. Smells of sweet caramel and dried figs. Nice thick mouthfeel, lots of sweet dried fruits up front, toffee and caramel on the finish. Could be a little less sweet. Rum barrel aging adds a nice layer of vanilla and some warmth and a little booze to the finish.

Had at station house 4.5.14. Started like pumpkin ale with smoother finish. Really liked it

Darker in color but not a heavy taste

Pours an amber with thin head. Smells like rum with a hint of ginger. Slight maltiness with big rum with the ginger following which must smooth it out cuz baby I'm digging it

Cross between x-mas ale and Belgian
