Doesn't taste like a Japanese beer (and this is a welcome change for an expat in Japan!) Aroma is very citric and floral for a lager. This beer is bright and lively in almost all aspects (color, carbonation, malt characteristics and alcohol percentage) Head builds decently (some larger bubbles that dissipate quickly) but doesn't linger long. Light but bright and tangy malt flavor. Clean finish. All in all quite a surprise from a Japanese lager (clean drinkable beers with no real bold flavors come to mind). Recommend!
