22oz, lowball
Super citrus on the nose, especially a bitter lemon. That carries to the flavor. It's okay, just too bitter. The combo with the lemon scrubs my mouth rather than comforting. It's light yet forward, just not my deal. Ryeness is apparent but sharper than others (Sweetwater, etc). Had to let this one warm quite a bit before it got significantly better. Rudeness is less sharp, but semi-dry bitterness still persists.
pogo177 - May 23, 2012Hay colored, good clarity and a big whit head. Mild mineral aroma. Citrus aroma. Smells good. Balanced with hops being slightly more. Mild spiciness from the rye. Complex flavors.
