Strong malty hoot. Great IPa!

To me, this tastes nearly identical to Sierra Nevada Ruthless Rye IPA. It's a solid rye IPA, mid- to high-quality, pretty typical of Firestone.

By far the best Black IPA I have ever had. Nose is full of citrus and hops. The taste is much the same, big citrus with a mild hoppiness on the front end. On the back end the taste changes to almost a porter where the roasted malts come in. Very complex and very tasty.

Very interesting. Hoppy up front with a very light malt. The aroma is pine hops with a strange but good sweet Cocktail onion flavor (from the rye?). Pretty solid overall

Tastes kind of like onions or something.

Wow! Expected malts due to dark color but it's actually quite hoppie and nicely bitter! Another great beer from Firestone.

The rye in this black IPA really helps to balance the huge hop presence. One of my faves from Firestone. It gets better after a lil bit of aging.

Faint floral aroma. Dark color. Decent head. Hops up front but not too powerful. Darker towards the back and aftertaste

Excellent clean. The pine gives it almost a fruity taste in the beginning.
