Pours a dark amber, minimal foam head that dissipates quickly. Smells of sweet caramel and toffee. Fairly thick mouthfeel for a lager, sweet caramel with rich flavors of toffee dominating the palate. Slight bitterness at the end. Really nice beer.

I like Great Divide a lot as a brewing company because of the great amount of brews this company has done; and here is another one. Wolfgang is a great example of how to brew a doppelbock lager. Rich caramel flavor with a malty back splash over a crisp, surprising refreshing finish.

Happy medium between a brown ale and a porter. Sweet Malts taste like caramel with very light chocolate malt hints. Stays on the palate for the perfect amount of time, leaving a nice sweet - but not too sweet - trail on the tongue. Mouth feel is relatively light. Crisp for a beer of this ABV. Very good beer for something sweet and buzz-worthy but not too heavy.

Pours a dark amber/light brown. Smells of rich toasty caramel and bready notes. Taste: nutty chocolate up front, caramel and bread notes in the middle, and a crisp, light, crisp, lager finish. Delicious Doppelbock. Hides the booze incredibly well.

Lots of caramel flavor, very good. I'd consider it a dessert beer, one and done.

Pretty good dopplebock, not too much chocolate, light on dopplebock flavor but still good. A little sweet and strong on the finish.

Beady head that diminishes fairly quickly. Clear (almost brilliant) dark brown. Malty, slightly roast, with some banana. Medium bodied, nice toasty malt character with a long, lingering finish.

Sweet malty flavor, great dark color. Good carbonation. Good mouthfeel, great finish, complex caramel notes.
