Cellar Dweller - February 15, 2015Another great beer from Prairie Artisan Ales. These guys continue to impress. Noir pours black with a nice light brown head. Tons of sediment caked in the bottle. Too dark to see how much is floating in my glass. Smells like chocolate covered cherries. Tastes slightly sweet and chocolatey at first then gives way to a massive red wine flavor. Sour grape, plum, raisin and oak cascade over your tongue completing in a dry alcohol finish. Alcohol becomes much more pronounced as it warms. Very interesting.
