16JUL14, Against the Grain Brewery, Louisville, KY Draft, fluted chalice Pours clear light amber color. Darker than golden. Has about a half-finger of white head that dissipates to a moderate film. Flavor is initially bitter, but it's still light. The mouthfeel is light-to-medium, and the finish is almost dry. It wants to quit, but there's just a tiny bit clinging to the edge of the cliff. Based on the initial flavor, I expected the hop profile to be crimping up a storm, but rather, it's quite like a ballet--a little bit of floral here, a tiny twinkle of citrus there, with soft toes landing in the soothing grassy grass that spans near and far. The aroma is citrus and floral, both on the light end. It's pretty good. Not splendiferous, but I think I would drink the Malt over this one.
