Very good stout with a smooth finish. I love the bourbon/vanilla tone.

Same as review for the regular Barney flats, but the oak barrel adds a nice touch- smoother and oaky. Elevates sweetness a bit. 3.6

Pours nice and dark with thick head. Smell is rather subtle but there is definitely some vanilla there from the bourbon. Taste is rich, deep, and complex with chocolate, malt sweetness, and bourbon notes. Really a fantastic brew. It seems it would be best enjoyed on a cold, snowy night.

Nice and full bodied with heavy chocolate and coffee. The barrel comes through too. Excellent taste!

Best beer ever. Last Tuesday at Duckworths $3.50 and Saturday at Total Wine $12.99 for 22 oz.
