Mild hoppy nose, lacy resilient head, crystal clear amber color, mildly hopped and balanced sweet flavor with slightly bitter roasted grain finish. I liked this beer and would recommend. Will drink again, it's a beer light enough to have several. Its only fault is that it might be a little too light.

Good body and color. Just a slight bite with this ale more like a lager.

Metallic flavor. Not my favorite

Really malty and caramel character.

Not much of a head or nose but a very smooth, slightly sweet entry with nice maltiness. Some cherries and biscuit notes. For a change, an American brewery that makes a German beer, and the rare altbier style, that is actually true to style. This is a very good beer.
