The "benchmark of the style." Bubblegum beginning; spicy ending. Boozy but not too sweet. Beer for whiskey drinkers. Had bottled at PP 8/2/13.

Nice unexpected hoppy bitterness at the front, with little of the banana/clove flavor profile of many other tripels. Some complexity in the flavor profile, and a very clean finish.
