Pretty nice tasting porter! Pours dark with a thin tan head that fades quickly. Smells mildly of roasted malts. Nice mellow chocolate flavor cut short by a mild smokey ash flavor. Beer feels really thin and watery. Overall nice beer!

Pours a very dark brown to mahogany in color with a thick foamy khaki head. Dissipates quickly to a foamy thin film on top of the beer. Has raisin dark fruit aromas. Subtle fig notes. Light to medium in body with a silky mouthfeel. Chocolate toffee and fig flavors at the forward, then has a surprisingly nice mellow fresh hoppy undertone and a clean finish. A lasting raising flavor on the back end. Overall very good and a nice complex mildly hoppy porter!
