Tasted side by side with Another One, since both use the same hops but different malts. Both are hop forward but one light and one dark. Weez is dark. Dark brown to black in color with tan foamy head that dissipates into rings of lacing. Pine and citrusy grapefruit aromas with a subtle black coffee note. Medium in body with citrusy hop forward flavors that blend with the dark roasted malts and transitions into a dry grapefruit finish. Tastes fresh with a dark roast to blend well with the hops. Would definitely have again. Very enjoyable. I liked this one more than Another One because I felt the dark roasted malts had a chance to shine along with the incredibly fresh and dry hop flavor. A great black pale ale.
